The Royal Empress Tree grows rapidly from seed. The huge leaves are an architectural delight and in warm summers, they are coupled with many panicles of fragrant, foxglove-like blooms. It is native to China and hardy to zone 5 USA. It can grow 10 to 15 feet a year. The lumber is valued for use as cabinet wood.Food Source Benefits: Leaves great for tea, flowers tasty & beautiful addition in salad. Bees and Butterfly love Paulownia - good for honey production and pollination. Leaves 18-20% protein and high in nitrogen - excellent animal fodder or fertilizer. I was real excited to see what these would do.
Nothing has come up...and I know what I'm doing.
I run a garden center. From the get go, the seeds didn't look
viable, but then I'd never seen them before. They weren't.
I'm very disappointed.
I had to give it one star so the review would go in...
but I'd rather not give the product any.

I planted 10 seeds in seperate containers thinking that only some would grow. They all grew. They shipped the seeds fast. Very happy.

Never grew!

Well thought I would try these because it seemed a cheap alternative from buying the tree. Now I know why. Not to upset because I am not out a lot of money but still sad they never sprouted.
